Beaumont California's freeways have had a lot of construction in the past couple of years. Caltrans has been expanding the Interstate 10 freeway lanes since late 2008, not to mention the Oak Valley Parkway, and two Beaumont Ave exits have had considerable work done to beautify the off-ramps with islands and other concrete work, to expanding and reworking the exits to handle more traffic.
Now we can say goodbye to two Beaumont CA freeway exits with the same name as well. The second eastbound ten freeway exit is still named the Beaumont Ave exit, largely in part because the second off-ramp lands directly on Beaumont Ave. The first eastbound Beaumont exit, at the same point of the 60 West interchange to Riverside, was also named Beaumont Ave, but landed drivers at the west-end of 6th Street. Now that first exit is aptly named 6th Street.
 
So drivers, when you're on the 10 FWY heading east, don't be alarmed or and think you've missed your exit. The freeway signs have just been renamed according to the streets they deliver you to!
