Christmas Eve Day ... in Ocean City, New Jersey
 
It's winter in Ocean City (NJ), that little barrier island that's so much a part of the South Jersey Shore Points.  I have some time on my hands today.  I woke up and had a cup of tea and watched the first hour of the Today Program.  Then I drove down to Bakley's Deli for a copy of THE WALL STREET JOURNAL ... I love the Friday and Saturday issues which cover a wide variety of non-financial stuff including films, books, real estate, art, and wine.
We plan to drive about six or seven blocks to the downtown section of Ocean City.  We may grab a later breakfast, walk around just a bit and visit a few shops.  Maybe we'll venture off the island for a few things.  But it it will be a light day for us. 
We may go to the early church service tonight with lot of Christmas Carols at the Methodist Church on 8th Street and Central Avenue.  And we plan to stop and see another couple and visit by the fireplace for a few hours.  Now that's a quiet Christmas Eve.
