Happy 90th Birthday Grandma!
Happy Birthday to my dear grandmother Betty, who is 90 years old today.  She has been a role model and inspiration to me all my life.  She taught me that a woman doesn't have to run herself into the ground to be a good housekeeper and mother.  Here are some other things I learned from my grandmother:  
Don't clutter up the house and you won't have so much to clean and deal with. Set a routine for your housekeeping - keep it simple but regular and you can keep on top of things. Only take on as much as you can comfortably handle. Pick one or two things to get done each morning so you can keep your sanity when you come home at night. Don't sweat the small stuff. Don't get emotionally involved. Stand up for what you believe in. Ignore small-town politics/gossip and don't worry about what other people think. Sometimes naughty people need a good telling off. Keep your mind sharp and your body fit. Be grateful for what you have and find ways to give to people who are less fortunate. Don't let your husband throw away your favorite vaccuum cleaner.
