Well, sometimes you just have to go with the flow, I guess...(I love those.....lol).
I wrote an offer last Tuesday.  The time for acceptance was Wednesday at 2 pm.  We heard back a counter within the time frame, countered back, they countered, we countered, we received new information, they countered, we countered, more info, and we finally accepted...a week later - VERBALLY!!! I don't necessarily normally do verbal counters, however, I trusted the other agent on the seller's side. We worked this deal out PERFECTLY, WHY, because, we both trusted each other and were both professionals. We do not work for the same brokerage, however, from day 1, we knew we were trust worthy and we worked a very fair deal.
B/c this deal is not finalized, however, we do have an executed contract, I cannot give the kudo's to the wonderful seller's agent that I had the pleasure of working with - YET!
This doesn't happen often, but I sure would love to work with the seller's agent again.  What a wonderful deal, and some wonderful agents on the other end.  Very understanding as am I.
