What kind of REALTOR reputation do YOU have and do you think that's important?
My reputation as a professional Realtor is important to my career and important to my clients. I work very hard at developing and maintaining a good relationship with other Realtors in our association, and that's important because I have a reputation for being professional and thorough, relaxed and accessible.
While I don't think cooperating Realtors are going to steer their clients to purchase my listings, I do know that they look forward to having a transaction with me if we've done one together in the past.
When my Buyers give me a list of properties they'd like to see, here are some thoughts that run through my head,
"Chatty, Linda. Very thorough and good to work with -- as long as everything goes smoothly. Only wants to communicate over the phone, and if any glitch comes our way, she will talk about it for two hours." "Lovely Kari. Always replies punctually, rarely misses a deadline or document, very professional and courteous." "Super Cathy. Once helped me challenge an appraisal when I was representing the Seller and she represented the Buyer. Thinks outside of the box and is ... more
