Got an early morning text asking if I was up for a spontaneous lunch with my best friend.   My schedule allowed for a fun lunch, so I said yes.  Now, we all fall into the routine of going to the same places over and over, and Annie & I certainly have done that.  Today, Annie suggested why don't we try a new place she had heard was great - World Peace Cafe in Sandy Springs, GA.  
Now, while Annie and I are the best of friends, we are somewhat opposites:-)  All good, we appreciate and love the difference in each other.  She's gone off gluten's and is now going vegetarian (as of last week:-).  Again, as a meat loving carnivore (that's me) - who can't have just a salad, or I am starving later, I am in support of this, but....
I dash into World Peace Cafe, a charming and busy cafe at 12:40 today.  A nice family let us go ahead of them and I am still trying to get the hang of the menu and see what option might ... more
