Broke a Board Yesterday
They were there, through the afternoon meeting, drawing our attention away from our speaker, three stacks of pine boards, about a foot square each, on the table to our left.  We knew we were each supposed to break a board at the end of the day, that they'd explain how to do it, that most people manage, that it's not unsurmountable.  Heck!  I'd seen my daughter break several in tae kwan do class a couple years ago.  But me?  Really?
And all I can say, REALLY, is that WE DID IT!  I DID IT!  WOW!
If one day you get an opportunity to focus your attention completely and break a pine board with your bare hand, you can be nervous, but DO IT!
Yes, if one day you find yourself in the same position we were in, pay close attention, do what they tell you, know that most who have gone before you have managed it as well, and then breathe deeply, exhale when you strike, and know that, wow, it happens
