Is Your House Ready For Its Photo Shoot?
Family portraits.  There's nothing quite like them.  I haven't been in a family portrait for years, but I remember the stress Mom had on potrait day.  Making sure each of us was dressed in our best outfits. Things neatly pressed.  No one clashing with another.  Hair just so.  It was a production.  That was the production for the photo that was going to hang on the wall of our home and possibly go out in Christmas cards that year.  I can't imagine any of us showing up a shirt partially untucked, a smear of food on the side of our mouths, or hair out of place.  We put our best foot forward. 

When listing your home for sale, it's important to do the same thing.  Put its best foot forward.  Make sure the house is clean, drapes and blinds are open, kitchen sink is empty and that beds are made.  These photos are going to be the first impression your house makes on Buyers as they surf the Internet, looking for a place to call home.
What goes for inside photos goes double for outside photos.  The exterior shot is the first one Buyers see.  Did you mow ... more
