Happy Mother's Day
To my wife, the mother of my son... to my mother and my mother-in-law... to all my family and friends who are mothers, Peggy, Pauline, Anya, Sarah, Rita, Anne, Auntie Cynthia, Auntie Millie, Auntie Dolly, Auntie June, and Auntie Phyllis, Wanda, Kim, Mitzi, Meghan (to name a very few), and to all mothers everywhere, I want to wish you, today, a very Happy Mother's Day. It seems we often take a mother's love for granted.  We just expect it always to be there.  Today, especially, I want to thank all the mothers in my life for all the love I have felt from you in my life. I often take for granted all the work a mother does.  At work, at home and at play.  To my wife, to my mother, and to my mother-in-law, thank you for everything you do. I have read that when a marriage is having issues, one sure fire way to improve things is for the husband to allow the wife to make more family decisions.  The reason for this is that, innately, a wife will tend to make decisions for the benefit of the whole family rather than for herself or for a particular member. ... more
