Where do Leads Come From?
 

Three years ago I spoke to a pleasant young lady about Real Estate in Louisville KY.  She told me that she had a family friend that was a Realtor, and that she felt obligated to use the friend. I followed up with her a few times just to make sure she was on track, and then let the other agent finish up with her. 
Fast forward three years. I get a call at my office from an unrecognized number. The young woman introduces herself and says that a friend referred her to me. I, of course, ask who the friend is, and lo and behold, it's the girl from three years ago, that I NEVER closed a deal with!
I still had her number, so I picked up the phone and called her to thank her for the referral. Now the question I was dying to ask, but didn't, was, "Why didn't you refer your family friend that helped you three years ago?"
Honestly, it doesn't matter to me at all, she's referring me now!!!
So, just keep in mind that you never know where you might get a referral or lead!!
