Trees require maintenance too.Where would we be without TREES?....Trees have provided peaceful places where great minds could think the deep thoughts that changed the world. I daresay that if Sir Issac Newton had not had a quiet fruit tree to contemplate under, he may not have discovered gravity, leaving us seemingly cemented to the earth for no apparent reason at all. Trees have been used as meeting places for young courting lovers. It is entirely possible that you may not even have been born if your grandmother sat under the apple tree with anyone else but your grandfather. Most of us take the trees all around us pretty much for granted. They seem to operate on their own, without much input or effort from us at all. Year in and year out there they are, providing cooling shade in the summer and splashes of spectacular color in the fall. But, the truth of the matter is....There is no free lunch.
