Interstate 84 Brings Changes to Commuters to Boise!
We have all had to endure many months of road construction on I84
from Nampa to Boise Idaho....
The newest change will help commuters already on the road
and may confuse commuters trying to get on to the freeway.
The Franklin on-ramp heading East toward Boise will be closed until early 2012
This is due to the many accidents  that have happened as commuters try to enter the I84.
The on-ramp has been shortened to a very dangerous length...
There is literally no merging lane at all! 
This is a relief to many of us who pass this on ramp every day!!!
As an alternative commuters may enter at the Northside on ramp or the Garrity on ramp
As a suggestion....if you are not exiting ....drive in the fast lane to give those entering the interstate room to merge on...
Oh...and don't forget the construction speed limit is 55!   And they are giving tickets frequently to violators!!!
