Moral Benefits of Wisdom
Proverbs Chapter 2 is a brilliant Biblical Chapter.  My New International Version bible has MORAL BENEFITS OF WISDOM as its title and reads:
My son, if you accept my works and store up my commands within you, turning you ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasures, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. (Proverbs 2:1-5).
I recommend reading this whole chapter and meditating on it.  I have a consistent study of proverbs for about the last 4 years where I read the chapter coresponding with the day of the month.  For example on Dec. 2nd, I ready Proverbs chapter two.
In doing this I have seen thrusts of wisdom, goodness and blessing pour into my life.  I even was a co-author in a book Wake Up Live the Life You Love: Wake Up...Moments where I talked in more detail about it.
