December’s Season of Celebrations & Sharing ~ Symphony of Lights in Columbia, Maryland
Are you all ready for the holidays and just waiting for the big day? I am jealous, but I hear there are organized people out there.

Now you can relax. There is no better way to get into the festive mood by taking some time during the evening and a drive to Columbia, Md. There you can enjoy a leisurely drive through the "Symphony of Lights" at Mereweather Post Pavilion and make a nice donation to Johns Hopkins Hospital at the same time.  

The local event is in it's 18th year in Howard County. This spectacular family entertainment of over 70 huge animated and stationary light displays is spread through Symphony Woods . Drive up, turn off your lights, change the radio to to the designated radio station of festive tunes and then slowly proceed in your car around the display. It takes about 30 minutes from start to finish.

It is sure to be a car full of squeals as children recognize the different nursery rhymes.

This event is open nightly from 6pm till 10pm (except December 31st- that's a very special event that needs reservations)and will be open till January 1st.
