Happy Boxing Day!

It's December 26th -- the day after Christmas.
It's over folks!!
But wait . . . there's more.
December 26th is Boxing Day -- a tradition celebrated by our friends . . . and former sparring partners . . . the Brits!
Let's take the day of December 26th and do some more holiday good cheer stuff!! 
HAPPY BOXING DAY EVERYONE!! . . . it's not only just the British who celebrate Boxing Day.
Quite a few countries recognize December 26 as Boxing Day, or St. Stephan's Day, or Second Christmas Day, or Goodwill Day:
The UK, (England, Scotland, Wales), Ghana, Australia, Jamaica, Canada, Germany, Greenland, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Trindad & Tobago, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Scandinavia, Poland, Nigeria. Austria, Italy, Sweden, Croatia, Ireland, Finland, Estonia, Norway, Denmark, etc.
 Anyway . . . beginning in the Middle Ages, the tradition started with folks giving of their gifts to charity.  Many of the folks were the upper crust of society.  They would box things up . . . and distribute clothing and charitable items to the poor and needy.
"Boxing" up leftovers was common after the feast, (when they didn't have fridges, makes sense).  The day after Christmas kept the spirit of giving alive.
