I love this show, can't watch it without a box of Kleenex nearby. Part of that is that it expresses how important 'Home' is. Anyone is the industry should understand that, Architects, Builders, Realtors, Designers. A home isn't just a place to hang your coat, park your car. It is a refuge, a safe haven. We in the 'biz' understand that more than most. Short Sales and Foreclosures are more than a terrible drain on the economy - they are a drain on the emotions, a loss of security, the loss of dreams. I understand that, any Realtor with a heart would.
Back to the headliner..... Tonight I watched a story about the Johnson-Goslee Family. 16 year old Wyzhir had lost his left hand in an accident a year ago. But that didn't stop his dreams of helping everyone in his close knit community, or deter him from his dreams of someday being a designer, maybe even an Architect. EMHE gave him a chance at those dreams, and his family a chance at a new life. This kid is charismatic, bright and very intelligent.
