How Far Is the Hospital From Your New Home???
This is something that most of us do not consider when we are looking for a new home, but it should be on top of the list for some of our senior citizens: How far is the hospital from your new home???
A good friend of mine's mother just moved and unfortunately, she moved from a home that was 5 minutes from the local hospital to a home that is well over a half hour away! For most of us this would not be a concern, but her mother is in her 90's and has multiple health issues. She tried to convince her mother that this was not the best decision, but mother knew best!
So right now she is in the hospital and it is extremely difficult for her husband, who has Alzheimer's and cannot drive to get someone to take him in to visit his wife in the hospital.
There are so many things to consider when purchasing a home!!!
