226 single family homes sold in Fall River during  2011 at an average sale price of $183,361 and median price of $180,000. For the same 12 month period in 2010, 247 single family homes sold with an average sales price of $188,643 and median price of $190,000.
 
2011 volume was down 9% compared to last year, while the average price was down 2.8% and the median price down 5.3% or $10,000.
 
As of January 1 2012 there were 173 single family homes for sale in Fall River, with a median asking price of $209,900, as compared to January 1 a year ago when there were 185 homes with a median asking price of $219,900.
