Please Reblog - Gail Wants Her ASUS Zenbook Back!
OMG!!!  I can so relate to Gails horror story.  I purchased my first ASUS computer in July 2011 and four months later it totally crashed and I spent a #%!! of a time getting a new one. 
Then two months later (last month), that one crashed too!  Once again, it was #%!! getting a new one (making it my third computer in seven months) and I told hubby that when this one crashes (which is just a matter of when and not if), I will not go through that #%!! again and I will just toss their piece of $#^! computer in the trash and go and buy a completely different computer. 
I bought one and have had two free ones and that is enough for me.  Their customer service absolutely SUCKS!!!  I would never recommend an ASUS computer to anyone and I will never, EVER buy another ASUS computer again. 
For those of you considering buying an ASUS Zenbook, I want to share my experience to save you the pain I've been through.  I paid $1,550 for the ASUS Zenbook UX31E (their top of the line model) on 11/21/11 from New Egg.com.  On 11/28/11 I received the computer and began using it.  ... more
