The Olentangy Local School District is "redistricting" some elementary schools effective for the 2012 - 2013 school year.

Neighborhoods in the Olentangy Local School District which are affected include: Burn Brae, Deep Run at Riverbend, Foxridge, Green Meadows, Highmeadows Village,  Hidden Ravines, Kesselbrooke Station, Malabar,  Nelson Farms,  North Orange, Olentangy Crossing, Olentangy Falls, Orangewick, Riverbend, Sycamore Meadows, Tall Oaks, The Notch, Thorton Woods,  Timber Lake,  Village at North Falls, Villas at Northstar,  Villas at Riverbend Condos, Walnut Bend and West Orange. Also affected?  Households in what is described as a "Non-Subdivided Area."   Some of the neighborhoods in the list were "previously redistricted in the 2010‐11 school year." and "previously redistricted in the 2009‐10 school year."  The information on the school district's webiste blog  which includes a map, a slideshow, a 33 page presentation  and tables which graphically tell the story of which neighborhoods in Olentangy schools go to a different school district.
