Teral shares a story about the water issues in North Texas, still. As an advocate for low water consumption, this exemplifies why!
Please be responsible with your landscaping, be considerate of your neighbors and don't plant water sucking landscaping. Given all the wildfires in Texas last year, funny store of zebra mussels or not, its not so funny.

Hello Invasive Species - Goodbye Texas Lakes
With warm weather upon us our thoughts and attention is returning to the recreational outdoor activities Texans love namely boating on its many lakes. Due to some environmental concerns Texans and anyone else enjoying Texas lakes need to practice environmentally friendly procedures to keep Texas lakes clean and flowing for years to come.North Texas has been under Stage 3 drought conditions due to these environmental concerns. Stage 3 restrictions greatly reduce the amount of watering activities homeowners can do due to the extreme drought conditions experienced across Texas in 2011.
