Here I was enjoying posting and commenting every day and week steadily. When you are finished, you go to the ActiveRain pay window and receive your points and all is well. Then, I came across a post or comment Barbara did many months ago. In it she stated that there is no reason to not blog past the allotted amounts. In fact, she encourage others to do so. POINTS OR PASSION
Every-time I approached and satisfied my point quota, if I saw a post that I wanted to comment on I would and points had nothing to do with it. If I had a post I wanted write, points were no longer involved. I went past points and into the world of expressing myself for no payment but sheer joy of sharing
TALES FROM THE OLD POSTS HOME
It bears sharing that when I first got started, I drafted most if not all my posts in advance and kept them in post queue. I would launch my point minimum and save the rest for the next appointed slot. NO MORE. I now save nothing and just proceed. Barbara words gently egg me on...post & comment...blog past your points and.... and then ... more
