GMAIL, HOTMAIL & YAHOO! Are All Unprofessional Email Accounts For Real Estate.
I think what Greg Nino has to say here is too true. When I left one major company and went to another, I had to scramble to get my email addresses as they typically get upset when you quit and shut you down fast. I have a gmail account now. I wonder what everyone else thinks out there? Please take a look at Greg's post.

My email is EverydaySOLD@gmail.com. But some of my industry friends tell me I should have GregNino@GregNino.com as it is more professional.
I disagree.
My current website provides 10 free email accounts. But I'm not interested in using them. If I decided to quit using the website I'd lose the email account. If the company has problems with their servers or suffers a power outage then I'll be without email. Both of these examples have occurred when I had my email account affiliated with a website. Not getting emails is like not putting tires on race car.
