Home Ownership Comes With Curve Balls We'd love to say that once you own a home, everything is peaches and cream from there, but the reality is that Life and Home Ownership sometimes combine in ways that make Murphy a happy camper!Some events you can prepare for (have a fire extinguisher, some basic tools, maybe some not so basic tools), and other events, well they just happen!For instance Saturday morning Mother Nature decided to throw us a curve ball right across our shed!  One of the many hardwood trees snapped it's top, and our no-maintenance resin shed became a splintered resin shed.  Four of the six roof panels were damaged, and the front corner pieces didn't fare so well either. The good news?  Ten feet to the right and it's our deck and house being whacked and not the shed!  More good news, none of us or the assorted furry pets were anywhere near it when it came down.  And even more good news, other than a dent in our extension ladder beside the shed, none of our tools, real estate yard signs and other gear stored in the shed was damaged.  And even MORE good news, the chainsaw was just ... more
