No Excuse for Bad MLS Pictures
There is no excuse for bad MLS pictures.
Years ago….the internet didn’t exist.   It is my understanding that Realtors carried books around that showed what properties were on the market.   Those MLS books were printed out maybe once a week.  Digital cameras were unheard of.   The high tech Realtors had pagers……  If people wanted photographs for their flyers, they took their film down to the store to be developed.   Depending on what you purchased, a roll of film could hold between 12-36 photographs. 
When I started selling  real estate about 15 years ago, Realtors were being highly encouraged to purchase their own laptop or computer.   Not only did I have a lap top, I had a digital camera.  It seems like that camera could only hold about a dozen pictures.    Since we couldn’t post very many pictures on the MLS, it didn’t seem like a big deal.    
Today it is different.     Although the number varies between MLS’s, lots of pictures can be posted on the MLS as well as virtual tours. 
This afternoon, I am going back to one of my listings to take more pictures.   My camera counter says that I’ve already taken over 200 photographs.    This ... more
