Taka Sushi Restaurant, Summit, New Jersey is one of my family’s favorite places to eat locally.  We can walk to the restaurant from our home and, rain or shine, it is always worth the short stroll.  My daughters grew up loving Sushi and it was a “requirement” that there was Sushi either on campus or close by when my eldest daughter was looking for a college!  Both girls have visited Japan and so Japanese cuisine is part of our family life.  I often recommend Taka Sushi to my friends, colleagues, buyers and sellers.
 
Taka Sushi offers great service and a menu that is interesting and delicious.  One of our favorite appetizers is Rock Shrimp – shrimp cooked “tempura-style” and then coated in a creamy, spicy sauce – and we nearly always order it.  As Taka Sushi is a BYOB restaurant we sometimes stop next door at the liquor store and buy a bottle of Sake.  The staff at Taka Sushi warms the Sake perfectly and it goes wonderfully with the menu.
