My First
We all remember our first...Listing Video
I have been doing video since mid-2007, starting with mortgage updates, to marketing advice to expressing my opinions on real estate and social media. I have longed preached my theories on "listing videos". Well, I finally did one in real life for my broker Maggie Lybolt at Prime Real Estate for her listing at 883 London Lane in Valparaiso, IN. 
Here is what I learned...
1. Use a script
At least some talking points, it will help you avoid over-using words like "spacious" and "great". It was like I was making a new drinking game. Also, it will help you keep track of these like rooms, features and special things that you want to mention. 
2. Light it up
Step out of the shadows, avoid bright lights behind you, buy a light package from Amazon (it has been on my wish list for a little while, it just got moved up).  Shooting in daylight is the best, but you will need lights at some point. 
3. Shaking
I know it is a hand held camera, but don't leave it in yours hands. Believe it or not, you can reduce vibration or shaking and greatly increase ... more
