National Escargot Day!


If you find that you are moving at a snails pace today,  it might be well to stay away from those with forks or an appetite for such gourmet delights!
 
How they came up with a day to honor the slugs is not clear to me but it is a fact.
 
It just goes to show that everything has a purpose. 
 
So while we all ponder the highest and best use for our time and skills today, we can pause and 
Be grateful that we are not just a part of the food chain,  that we do not carry homes on our backs and that we are capable of accomplishing great things.
