Another hidden gem in Catonsville!  Ok - maybe this one is not so hidden!   Opie's Softserve and Snowball Stand at 1603 Edmondson Avenue in the heart of Catonsville is the place to be all summer long!  
The soft serve is the best around - creamy and rich in vanilla, chocolate or swirl.  A variety of sizes including kiddie for those days when you want just a taste.  Get it with or without jimmies or chocolate or peanut butter shell - yummy!! You can't go wrong with a snowcone with 39 flavors to choose from such as classics like orange, lemon lime, cherry,and rainbow as well as the Baltimore area favorites, egg custard and skylite!  A popular item at Opie's is the Snowcream with your choice of snowcone with a serving of soft serve in the middle.  Hot humid Maryland weather has met it's match in this treat!
