Dolores and I live in the Kentlands community in Gaithersburg, Maryland.  This neo-traditional neighborhood is a favorite for families that are relocated to the metropolitan Washington, DC area.  Kentlands is a walking community with sidewalks on both sides of the well lighted streets.
The beautiful flowers that are found in the home gardens make photowalking a popular activity for those that like to combine exercise with photography.  Walking through a community on a regular basis really keeps you informed on what is going on and a chance to meet many neighbors when they are out and about.
If you have not tried photowalking, just take your camera with you and watch for the changing colors of the seasons.  Be sure to share the special moments you capture in your photographs.
