Speech Sunday -- A Beautiful Day on The Williamette River

 
The pier off of South Waterfront was busy today.  It was a gorgeous day in Portland and I suppose people were out because of Father's Day.  The Williamette River runs through Portland with Downtown Portland to the West and Portland's East side to the East.  The Williamette Reiver is a tributory of the Columbia River and the Marquam Bridge is in the background.

I did not take this photo, it's from Wikipedia.  It shows Downtown Portland and the Williamette River.  This photo was taken during FLEET WEEK.  Fleet Week was last week . . . close enough.
