My Sweet Lord, wasn't it  a tough real estate market yesterday? Luckily, all you need is love, because there were plenty of days without cash to spare. We'd spend days and days, getting nowhere, Man.
Other jobs seemed easier - paperback writer, a sailor on a yellow submarine, or a taxman.
All of those buyers, screaming Please Please Me - we showed them houses everywhere from Abbey Road to Penny Lane, hoping they would buy something, and still we would get back to the office without a contract. While the sellers would shout at us "Help!" until you've put in a hard day's night worth of work? Even during the best months, we were always putting in eight days a week. At the worst of it, we knew that all things must pass, and told each other that we can work it out.
Do you want to know a secret? I believe we're on the long and winding road toward a real estate market recovery, but, for tonight, I'll just let it be.
