What is the best Asheville neighborhood?
As one of Asheville's top agents, I hear this a lot from my buyers: "Where is the best neighborhood in Asheville?"
It's a hard question to answer since Asheville has SO MANY different areas to choose from and each area has it's own attractions.
Of course, it also depends on what is important to you.
Perhaps you're a retiree and are looking for easy one level living, perhaps a condo or townhome. If that is the case then the best neighborhood in Asheville for you might be South Asheville. 
With many established planned developments, South Asheville is a very popular destination. Biltmore Park, also in South Asheville, offers  a walkable lifestyle with gorgeous town homes, a variety of resturants, theatre and shopping and a lively "town square" atmosphere.
Biltmore Park is very popular with those downsizing and also young professionals who value the convenience of being near (but not too near) the Asheville Regional Airport.
South Asheville is also very convenient to Asheville's award winning Mission Hospital.
