Why I love My Home
 

 
 
Liz Wallace of Century 21 Sherlock Homes has created a challenge for us participating in Active Rain to tell folks why we love our home.
 
Before Bob and I were married we stopped in a model home to kill some time while waiting for some friends of us to arrive home. The lady spoke with us and told us, this neighborhood was not for us. We were “Grand Lakes” kind of people. I thought whatever that means. We walked around and asked her where “Grand Lakes” was. She told us how to get there. Afterwards when we were heading back to my house I said let’s take a look at Grand Lakes. It was nothing but dirt as far as you could see big flat red dirt. The elementary school was being finished up. I said ha that will not be for us. God was laughing at us.
 
Fast forward 18 months later we have been looking for homes for 9 months now. We have killed a couple of deals for being lied and sales consultants being rude. So, I go into this trailer as the models were not finished and who do I ... more
