Greenpoint Brooklyn Open Studios-October 3rd-5th 2014
This weekend is the Greenpoint Brooklyn Open Studios from October 3rd-5th. I happened to have a Feng Shui client in Crown Heights, NY so it worked out perfectly to swing up to 67 West street, Brooklyn NY, 11222. That is only one of the many studios open this weekend.

I wanted to point out the dedication and passion these local, national and international artists have with their craft. So when a price is quoted you understand the value and worth being presented to you. The piece above is called, 'Paths of Memory,' created by Artist Collen Blackard.  I inquired about her process and time it took to create the 3x4 drawing.
I was told this entire drawing was created by ball point pen, in fact the very one you see in the photo.
All I could say, along with the stream of viewers alike was, AMAZING. When that fact in the process of creation was shared, many had a new found respect for what they were viewing. It took Ms. Blackard two months to complete.
