Acid rain?
 
As the acid rain fell upon the leaves in the concrete city...
 

 
O.K. - We all know I'm fairly new to this "Active Rain" but admit it...
You must have called it "Acid Rain" at one point or another too!!!
I was at a "Negotiating Effectively" seminar today and just like all the seminars most skilled Realtors go to, you sit there saying in your mind "Yada-Yada-Yada", this seminar should have come with a fifth of scotch or a gun so I could shoot myself.
 But we all have to sharpen our tools, so we go.
I kind of opened my eyes a little at this one because the speaker caught my attention when he mentioned the deal killer:

                                                          "Ego"
 
"I'm not lowering my price!!!"
"I'll sell it myself!"
And the most famous one (I believe nationwide)
"I'm not signing anything!"
Stop clenching your fists now...
There's no white knuckle action in real estate!
The speaker put this remedy in the simplest form:
"When confronted with 'ego' go back to the original reason why the buyer/seller wanted to buy/sell and go from there"
I don't know about you but I liked it.
