Webware 100 - 2008 winners announced
Yesterday, CNet announced the Webware 100 winners for the 2008 competition. These are the top Web 2.0 applications, according to the 1.9 million votes from Webware readers and Internet users.
 
Of course, the list misses some of my favorites and the term Web 2.0 is used with a great freedom, but nevertheless, the winners were selected by a large pool of people. Some of them are obvious and returning winners, such as Google, Google Maps and Amazon, but there are a few interesting new ones. I personally would prefer a list which excludes the obvious industry leaders as they do not add any value to the results, but there are a few very interesting ones.
 
From the real estate technology sphere, Zillow made the cut. Last year was clearly great for Twitter (refer to Jeff's posts for everything you ever wanted to know about Twitter) and I was glad to see blogtalkradio making it too (see Juliet using BlogTalkRadio on her AR post)
