Are you Linked-In or Locked-OUT? This is a great HACK by Joy Bender and as a Linked In user, I appreciate the tips to put into practice. Linked In is so under appreciated by entrepreneurs; it's my second stop after Active Rain daily and before Facebook. I dedicate 20% of my marketing efforts to social media, blogging and Linked In; I separate linked in as they do not consider themselves "social media". Inbound Real Estate Marketing wrote a super helpful blog post today and I was stunned with what I didn't know about LinkedIn best practices for profiles regarding keywords, ProFinder, and symbols in front of your name.
After reading the article I requested LinkedIn add me to the profinder search that I didn't even know existed.  Once you make the request the 24 hours later you receive this email.

This is how dynamic and robust the new LinkedIn Profinder profile appears.

I also changed my name to have a symbol in front of it so that my name will show up as one of the first contacts in any connections mobile list.
