Thankful for The Simpler Things in Life!

In May of 2008, I had the opportunity to cross an important entry off of my Bucket List.  It was to travel to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and visit the Amish. I have always admired the peaceful Amish nature, and their simple lifestyle.
 
The journey was all I had wished for, and more!  The Amish landscape has a spirit that abides, and changes those who visit!  The experience changed how I view life, and I am VERY thankful for the simpler things in life.  My life is blessed because of it!
 
Debbie Reynolds (the Real Debbie Reynolds) is hosting a 10 Day Thanksgiving Post Challenge.  The challenge has inspired me to take a little time out each day and contemplate my blessings.  This is Day 1.
