I am Thankful for all the Good Work The Greenbrier Does for our Communities
 
 
This Thanksgiving challenge we are to write a post a day for what we are thankful for.  I am thankful that the flood this past June did not damage our home. So many families lost their homes and loved ones. 
 
I am thankful for all the good work The Greenbrier has done for the communities in southern West Virginia. Special thanks to Jim Justice the owner of The Greenbrier Resort located in White Sulphur Springs, WV.
  
    The photo above depicts the flood waters at the Greenbrier; the one below is how it looked before the flood.
 
 
 
Due to the increased need for medical attention as a result of the flooding throughout Greenbrier County and beyond, The Greenbrier opened Greenbrier Care and The Greenbrier Clinic  for anybody who needed medical care.
 
The Greenbrier did not have hot water,  but the flood victims were provided a room, as well as food, 
 
 "We just hope that by providing a good meal and a comfortable and safe place to stay that we can help ease the pain just a little to those who are suffering so much from this unbelievable disaster," said Jim Justice.
