Idaho vs Iowa; The I States
The wife of one of my old college buddies called me last summer to inform me that their oldest son, along with a few of his college friends were going to take the fall semester off, and travel around the U.S. and Canada. As she described the route, it sounded like they would hit Canada in the summer, the eastern seaboard of the U.S. in late summer, the south in early fall, and then, as she put it, travel through the "middle"states in late fall and early winter, hoping to get in some really good skiing, on the way back to California.  Next she asked if there was any possibility of the guys staying with me for a day or so, basically to keep mom and dad's credit card total down.   "No problem" was my response.
 
The plan was for her to call me when they got close, and get my contact information, as well as make sure that lodging was still available at our home.  Late fall is now here, and yesterday I got the call.  "The guys are close by and want me to get directions to your house".
