Wordless Wednesday: Foodies Rush In Where Angels Fear To Tread!

Our concierge directed us to this restaurant on the square as one of her favorites, Osteria Il Gallo, in Panicale, Umbria.  Of course we used Siri as our guide, and she kept insisting that the place was on our left.  On our left was the city wall.  
We parked and asked the gentleman who parked behind us, and he told us to follow him.  We walked up to the square and there it was!  Had this restaurant been in Santa Barbara or any other city in the United States, we would have run the other way.  Once again, we had a wonderful lunch Umbrian style!
