Clarksville, TN and the Cumberland River
The River, A Beautiful Part of Clarksville, TN
Clarksville is a river town and the winding Cumberland River is a focal point of our city. The city has done a fabulous job creating parks along the river, a river museum and miles of walking trails. A couple of years ago Clarksville added a Marina and a big event center and Freedom Point in Liberty Park. 
These amenities draw people to the river every day of the week. During the holiday season, Christmas on the Cumberland brings thousands to the river banks to enjoy holiday music and a million Christmas lights.
Because Clarksville was established over 200 years ago on the river, I use river photos in my marketing and it is part of my branding. Clarksville is a historic town and I like to emphasize that. There are so many beautiful places along the river but I generally use the Riverwalk and the Marina. It says it's a place relaxation and recreation which is a vital part of the lifestyle of Clarksville TN. I love taking photos of our Cumberland River with my new Canon 70D camera.
