It’s hard to believe that Thanksgiving was a week ago and without missing a beat or being able to take a breath, we are well into the mega-holiday season.
 

The love of family and the admiration of friends is much more important than wealth and privilege. Charles Kuralt
 
  
 There’s nothing like being able to spend time with your friends and family during the holidays.

There’s only one thing on your mind...FOOD!
Two days after Thanksgiving, we went to our friend’s pig roast.  
And, Larry’s sister arrived this week and yes, we’ve been visiting, celebrating his birthday, and EATING!

Thankfully, our morning walks at the beach and visits to the gym keep us from looking like rotund versions of our former selves.
 
If you do not yet have plans to be with friends or family for the holidays, I encourage you to make some...invite someone you know to share a cup of coffee or meal, gather others who are not with their family and order in if you have to.  

Being with family & friends is NOT highly overrated.
