Meet Miamian Jorge Llapur: Co-founder of Cuban Guys Restaurants
What better way to get to know Miami than meet some of our local celebrities? Cuban Guys quickly became an iconic chain in Miami with its cheerful branding, casual atmosphere and seriously good food. Growing up in Miami, I love Cuban food and it's the first thing my friends and family from out-of-state ask for when they come visit. 
Here's my exclusive interview with Jorge Llapur, one of the three founders of Cuban Guys. Jorge and I "met" on Instagram and his dynamic personality instantly connected with me. I had the pleasure of meeting him in person and had the opportunity to ask him some questions.
LH: Tell our readers how Cuban Guys went from a dream to reality?  
Jorge Llapur: Climbing up the corporate ladder in the restaurant industry, I always learned that the restaurant experience goes beyond the flavor of the food, it is all about food quality, staff friendliness, restaurant cleanliness and value to the guest.  I never found a Cuban fast casual chain that had these characteristics all in one place, so I decided to create it, and that is how the idea of Cuban Guys Restaurants came to life.
