The Rules Are The Rules | Do We Need To Follow All Of Them | Not
 
Yesterday, one of my previously written Featured posts was a re-blog, and that post was noticed by a blogger who is a member of my firm and very well-versed with SEO.  Having said that, I was the recipient of a several lashings from him, and I probably deserved all of them with reference to SEO.
 
Everything in my post was nonconforming, when it came to current algorithms established by Google.  I stated that my posts averaged 250 to 300 words.  I do post frequently, but a 3,000 word post would not be one of mine.
 
I’m not a professional writer. I’ll never be a professional writer, but what I write is usually read by members here and found by potential sellers.  Actually, much of what I write is indexed by Google. 
 
 
If one needed to write 2,000 to 3,000 word narratives in order to land on the first page of a Google search for the keywords used, I truly believe one could count on one hand the number of bloggers who would participate.  The rhetorical question of “Are you here for fun” was asked.
