Many of us follow and comment regularly on the blog posts of members whose style appeals to us. On occasions we also take up the phone and reach out to put a voice to the writings.
I caught Sharon at a weak moment, as she was just saying goodbye to her 4 grandchildren after having spent the day chasing after them around the house. Quality bonding time with the grand babies with the reward that they go home to their parents.
Even after identifying myself, she still mistook me for a telemarketer but had the patience to pause before hanging up n me. Then the light went on and she knew who was calling.  All day with 4 grandchildren can do that to a person.
We talked about blogging and the personalities of some of our commonly followed Rainers. Of course there was some conversation about grandchildren, and our spouses. Sharon set here cap for her husband while working as a sandwich maker at a deli. She gave him extra meat and he was trapped. Men are suckers for a woman that knows how to slice meat.
