For Catholics and most other Christians ‘GOOD FRIDAY’ commemorates and recalls the day when JESUS DIED ON THE CROSS to atone for our sins, and bring salvation to all mankind...THE SECOND DAY OF “THE EASTER TRIDUUM”...
 
Can you think of an event in the history of mankind to top this...???
 
Yesterday we celebrated THE LAST SUPPER when Our Lord instituted THE EUCHARIST, THE PRIESTHOOD, and THE MAGISTERIUM...THE FIRST DAY of “THE EASTER TRIDUUM”...AND...
 
TOMORROW, at sunset, WE WILL CELEBRATE JESUS’ RISING FROM THE DEAD...God’s FINAL GIFT TO ALL MANKIND OPEN TO RECEIVE IT...THE THIRD DAY OF “THE EASTER TRIDUUM”...!!!
 
AND ALL CHRISTIANS WILL PROCLAIM ‘ALLELUIA, ALLELUIA, ALLELUIA’...!!!
 
While I spend GOOD FRIDAY baking loaves of my ancestors traditional ‘EASTER BREAD’ I will ponder and meditate on these mysteries...and I invite my friends and readers to join me...!!!
