It’s National Ice Cream Day Tomorrow July 16th 2017
 
I don’t typically write about National This or That Day, but this one strikes near to the heart, or perhaps I should say stomach.
 
No doubt anyone else who is an ice cream lover would agree.
 
 
And who says you just get to celebrate ice cream one day out of the year?! Although officially President Ronald Reagan designated July as National Ice Cream Month, and the 3rd Sunday of July as National Ice Cream Day, way back in 1984. I started celebrating before that and continue to uphold the tradition!
 
So tomorrow is the big day, and a great time to celebrate a wonderful part of the dairy food group. No doubt there are plenty of opportunities in your area to enjoy the ice cream you like best, unless you are not a fan – whether it’s free offerings at retailers, chain ice cream stores (Baskin Robbins, Carvel’s), or buying your fave at the grocery store or the best local ice cream joint in town.
