Annual APEX Ceremony Celebrates Women Professionals
The Women in Business (WIB) Committee of the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce announced the nominees for the 2017 Apex Awards in May.  22 women were nominated.
This month Barbara Dell, CEO of the successful Dress for Success Southwest Florida, and Samantha Scott, president of Pushing the Envelope, a public relations and marketing firm, were named winners of the 2017 Apex Awards.
This is the 12th year of the awards program and the fourth consecutive year that two women shared the top honors. The announcement came at a program at Six Bends Harley-Davidson in south Fort Myers.
The Apex Awards presented by Southwest Florida Distributing, Publishing, Web Advertising is an annual tribute to a woman for professional excellence, community service and for actively assisting others in attaining professional goals and leadership skills.
The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce is proud to hold this event to honor the women of Fort Myers and surrounding Lee County.  Ms. Scott and Ms. Dell will be honored at a black tie dinner-dance on Saturday, Sept. 30, at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa in Bonita Springs.
